Acupuncture
Precision techniques for pain relief and muscle recovery.
Acupuncture is a therapeutic technique rooted in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). It involves inserting thin needles into specific points along the body’s energy pathways, or meridians, to restore balance and stimulate healing. Modern research supports the effectiveness of acupuncture in activating the nervous system, improving circulation, and modulating pain signals.

What is Dry Needling?
Dry needling is a modern, science-based approach that targets myofascial trigger points—tight, sensitive bands in muscles that cause pain and restrict movement. It is “dry” because no substance is injected. During treatment, a thin, sterile needle is inserted directly into the trigger point, causing a brief contraction or twitch response, followed by muscle relaxation and relief.
Very effective in treating:
-
Muscle tension and stiffness
-
Sports injuries and overuse syndromes
-
Tendonitis/Bursitis
-
Joint pain and restricted range of motion
-
Nerve related discomfort

What to Expect
Is it safe?
Acupuncture is safe when performed by trained, certified professionals. Side effects are rare and generally mild; including temporary soreness or bruising at the needling site. Our chiropractors take the time to assess each patient thoroughly and ensure treatment is appropriate for their condition and comfort level.
